The Cocoahead’s team is in charge of organizing events and finding speakers.

Some responsibilities include:

• Choosing a date for the event
• Contacting local companies to ask if they want to host
• Create an event on Eventbrite to publicize the event and sell (free) tickets
• Share and promote the events on social media
• Collect talk ideas from the community
• Choose talks to be presented at an event
• Coordinating with the host for the set up
• Arriving early, welcoming guests, checking names on the signup list
• Staying late to help with cleanup
• Saving and publishing slides from a past event
• … and more!

It seems like a big list, but with a few volunteers, it’s not that much work at all! 😃
